The Weintraub Law Firm embraces this philosophy and believes that volunteering and serving the needs of those around us in our communities is paramount to a healthy, productive and compassionate society.
When a person is facing a Georgia DUI or for criminal or other criminal offenses, the Judge may order that individual to preform community service as part of his/her sentence.
Basically, community service is volunteer work performed for local governments or Georgia nonprofit agencies. Every case is different and each will be evaluated to determin the number of hours that will need to be performed by that defendant and the timeframe within whcih the community service is to be completed.
