One whose profession is to give legal advice and assistance to clients and represent them in court or in other legal matters is a definition I found online of a lawyer. Howard Weintraub is all this plus more. Our relationship began Oct 9, 2008 after I found his website. The DEA had just caught me and my father in the act of selling marijuana, and I was desperate for some help. I actually left a message with his answering service at midnight; he called me within minutes. He has been there for me ever since. He is much more than a lawyer, but a personal role model of mine. It showed my family a lot about his character that he called me that night, and I am honored to tell others of his performance. He saw to it that I did less than 24 hours in jail, and got my Dad the most reasonable sentence within his power. Also because of him we got to keep our house, and I was able to go pick up several guns that got seized at the time of his arrest, which is very unusual. I am pregnant, and he calls me to check on the baby; which in my opinion goes above and beyond his job. He also bought me and my boyfriend lunch one of the times we had to go to court, and I also think this proves his good nature. This is a compassionate man who knows about the law and truly cares about his clients. God forbid I get into anymore trouble, but if I do… I have his number on speed dial. It was truly a privilege to meet Howard, and I would recommend him to anyone.
