Howard Jarrett Weintraub is the Absolute Bulldog, the Power, the Brain I Needed Because My Future Depended on the Result of My Case!

"My name is Peter and I'm a small business owner from Germany and I do not write English very well. I become a client of Howard Weintraub by coincidence shortly after I was charged and accused with the offence of family violence battery. If I was convicted, I would be deported. This would have ruined my life. A friend of mine gladly recommended Howard Weintraub as a defense lawyer.

This was an excellent recommendation because:

1. Howard demonstrated excellent knowledge of the overall situation in my case. Timing of the events and the proper sequence what needs to be done.

2. His secretary vividly demonstrated urgency of administrative steps. She was very polite at all times. Returned calls when busy to answer all of my additional concerns.

3. Howard showed good strength in setting up the strategy for my case (even he was undergoing a difficult medical operation - hip replacement).

4. Team up with forensic scientists and got evaluations scheduled and got results quickly.

5. Howard coordinated very successfully a major team work with my divorce and immigration attorneys.

6. He demonstrated power and knowledge, made the additional steps, additional phone calls, homework and lot extra ground work to ensure my case win. He orchestrated and coordinated all actions. I even met with him in his office on the weekend to set up a new even better strategy to pursue after some of the inconclusive forensic results.

7. Simply Howard showed extreme commitment on a small case like mine. He delivered the best possible results and outcome.

Howard Jarrett Weintraub is the absolute bulldog, the power, the brain I needed because my future depended on the result of this case. He proves his talent and focus as a defense attorney. I have no criminal record thanks to Howard. The result was very important because of my immigration status in United States and my future. After my case was over Howard even invite me to have a lunch with him and his staff on one of the nice fall early afternoons.

If you have the money, you are serious and in trouble don't waste your time with yellow pages looking for defense attorneys and call Howard's office."

Was Facing Prison. . NOW in Law School!

UPDATE: This testimonial is provided as an update to a previous review, it is important for people to know that there are other positive outcomes as a result of Mr. Weintraub's representation!

I've been accepted to Pace Law School, where I'll be studying environmental law beginning this fall. I could not be happier about that. Pace's environmental law program is ranked third in the nation, and I'm certain that it will prepare me well for a career in the field.

I am grateful for every one of you and the help you provided, whether it was writing a letter of recommendation, preparing me for the LSAT, giving (invaluable) feedback on my essay, or just providing support to me in this pursuit in general--I could not have done it without you, and I could not be more appreciative of all of the help that you gave.

Thank you, and best wishes.

Conviction Expunged, Mr. Weintraub is Incredibly Talented and Effective!

I first met Howard Weintraub in January 2006. From that first meeting until the termination of my case in December 2009, Mr. Weintraub demonstrated complete professionalism and a thorough determination to have my case proceed with as little damage to me as possible. He knows the legal system inside and out, and worked diligently to ensure every option available was pursued. I was comfortable with Mr. Weintraub from the first meeting, and was always made to feel confident but realistic about potential outcomes. I did a lot of research on my own, and I had many questions and concerns, and Mr. Weintraub always answered my questions and addressed my concerns promptly.

In my case, a conviction carried a minimum mandatory sentence of one year in prison. Mr. Weintraub was able to work with the prosecutors and judge to get me a sentence that allowed me to avoid any jail or prison time. The value of that outcome is immeasurable. Now, less than three years after reaching this deal, the conviction is expunged and Mr. Weintraub is working to get the arrest expunged as well. It's possible that I'll be able to carry on with my life without so much as an arrest appearing on my record. As it is, my conviction will not appear on background checks, which means I will not be affected by my conviction in any meaningful, lasting way. Mr. Weintraub worked with probation officers to successfully get my sentence terminated early, and his willingness to work on my behalf at every stage of my case, even post-sentencing, was expressed from the beginning.

Simply put, Mr. Weintraub showed a commitment to my case that I would not have received from most attorneys, and as a result, I received what I believe is the best possible outcome in my case—indeed, I could not have anticipated an outcome as positive as mine has been. Mr. Weintraub is incredibly talented and as effective as I believe anyone could be. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of a defense attorney.

Great Lawyer-Knows His Stuff-No Sugarcoating

If you are looking for a lawyer that sugarcoats and gives his/her clients unreasonable expectations, Howard James Weintraub is not for you. Upon review of my case, Mr. Weintraub provided me with a thorough, understandable and law based prognosis that immediately relieved my anxiety as to the final disposition of the case, all this before I even retained him. He kept me abreast of every single detail on the case and provided a shoulder to bare my burdens. He was not only my lawyer throughout, but to this day and henceforth a friend. His ability to set forth the facts of my case and engage both the Judge and the prosecutor, led to the most desirable result we could image, not a single day in jail and the least possible fine. He made it possible that I was never handcuffed nor treated like a common criminal throughout my ordeal. I highly recommend Howard Jarrett Weintraub to anyone who needs not just an attorney, but also a defender.

You Could Do Worse… I Love This Guy!

I hired Howard after making the very stupid decision of placing a bomb in my girlfriends car ( Don’t worry it was unoccupied, and I meant it to be like a cherry bomb in a mailbox - believe me I know there is no justifying this very stupid decision). I had the ATF breathing down my neck hot and heavy. Not the group of individuals you want after you, if they think your there man, they'll fix the case, and the evidence, believe me I know, they are trouble.

At any rate, the ATF discovered that I was a Felon, and that I had possessed a couple of guns, even though I honestly thought I was not!! At any rate the law does not care what you think about your criminal history, a felon in possession is a for sure your doing time. I refused to accept that label, and insisted to Howard that we go to trial. It took some PI work, and a lot of leg work, and a damn good lawyer to present it to the Jury. But, I write here to tell you that Howard Weintraub got a NOT GUILTY verdict from the Federal Grand JURY on all the counts of possession. I did no time for those guns.. I was warned not to ever possess one again, and let go!!!!!!!!

People, I have read your posts about money. It is a very expensive task to go up against the State, and an overwhelming task to go up against the FEDS, they print the money. But, this is your only shot. Wait till your doing ten plus years in Prison, and getting quotes of 25,000 dollars plus to file an appeal. An appeal is just paper writing, no PI work, interviews, depositions, trial time.. Don't be stingy, spend the money- your freedom is worth every penny. Take it from someone who has experienced the entire process.

I'm now married to that girl who's car I damaged, have two kids, a house, a great job. . . I'm happy, and I consider Howard a great friend.

This man is worth the money. . . . you can call me for a reference!

Weintraub Superbly Delivered Results; Daughter Is Free From Criminal Record!

My 18 year old daughter lives in Atlanta and was charged with possession of marijuana. Living in Florida I did not know any Atlanta lawyer who could help my child. A friend of mine recommended that I hire Howard Weintraub. I am so grateful for his suggestion.

Logistically I could not be with my daughter during each court proceeding and I wanted an attorney who would “hold my daughter’s hand.” I also wanted a tough-nosed litigator to get her out of this situation with no criminal record. Mr. Weintraub superbly satisfied my needs.

Mr. Weintraub was extremely kind to my child, paid special attention to her case as if it was his own child’s case, and kept me abreast of everything he was doing. Mr. Weintraub convinced the prosecutor to dismiss the charge as he argued the search of my daughter’s residence was illegal.

Because of Mr. Weintraub my child does not have any criminal record. I highly recommend Howard Weintraub to anyone needing an excellent, professional and caring attorney.

Excellent Criminal Defense Lawyer, Reversed My Son’s Conviction

In our house we call Atlanta attorney Howard Weintraub the “mailman” because he delivered in representing my son Waltrant Cash. In 2005 my son was wrongfully convicted by a jury in Carroll County Superior Court of aggravated child molestation and he was sentenced to ten years. After sentencing I replaced his trial lawyer with Howard Weintraub.

Mr. Weintraub filed for a new trial but the judge denied any relief. Mr. Weintraub appealed to the Court of Appeals of Georgia and on November 20, 2008 they reversed my son’s conviction. My son’s case is reported at Cash v. State, 294 Ga. App. 741, 669 S.E.2d 731 (2008).

Because of Mr. Weintraub’s skills my son’s nightmare ended on February 03, 2009 when he was released from prison. I thank Mr. Weintraub for saving my son’s life and for reuniting my family. I highly recommend Howard Weintraub to anyone needing an excellent criminal defense lawyer who will vigorously and ethically fight for his client.
